Great pictures. It’s a wonderful building, isn’t it?

Yes it is - I thought I would be impressed but I am even more impressed than I thought I would be.
Also have now enjoyed both intrenal venues I love them both. The intimacy of the small one and the grandeur of the larger.
Everything inside seems quality, the curves run throughout and it seems to work so well in terms of avoiding queues and bottle necks.
One small thing: normally I’d like the grass that surrounds it but it somehow looks out of place. It just looks like scrubland. I am not sure what the answer is - maybe just more manicured green spaces. Or maybe ampitheatre like steps.
I wonder what all that area will look like “when its finished” and wonder just how far the planning goes.

Just wait till Gateshead Parks department finally get their hands on the open spaces.
Have you seen the boxes they have put in the car parks just below the Sage and looking out over the Gateshead Millenium Bridge. They are labeled ‘farm boxes’ and have cabbages, cauliflowers and chilli peppers growing in them - great.
