The first shot is of Lindisfarne (AKA Holy Island), where we spent last weekend, and I was a bit chuffed to see that it had been named Photo of the Day on Gadling yesterday.
The second is from Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which was the previous Saturday’s entertainment. I’d struggle to think of a more engaging walk (and decent Cafe too).

it did and they were up to scratch as per.
I also went to flicker - interesting in the light of your earlier blog on religion that you took - Aidan or Cuthbert - both look alkie to me - but I loved the shot.

Diehard - it was just a nice statue. No idea whetehr it was Aidan or Cuthbert. Still haven’t been to Saltwell, apart from our late night walk. Soon I hope.
Thanks Minx - I hope the 3am was in the summer. It was freezing during daylight in Janaury.
Thanks Chris. Much appreciated.

Nah it was 3am on Halloween night, 31st October, and I have never felt such cold. Did the same a couple years earlier doing the ghost hunt on Alnmouth Beach and the cold was even worse!!!
